I'm deeply sorry to those I have made promises to in the first two weeks of my DA account. The requests made then were impossible to do at the time, since I wasn't prepared.

Fortunately, there's still hope. This week and the next will allow me to improve drastically.

Hopefully, I'll be able to fulfil my promises.

Update time!

Making no progress whatsoever with the graphic novel-style approach to drawing, I decided to loosen up and sharpen my blade by drawing someone familiar: Isaac Clarke from Dead Space.

You can find the WIP here: pr0jectzer0.deviantart.com/art…

Other than that, I'm still trying to progress, but nothing has happened (yet).

Can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring!

Today, I had my first drawing class.

As of now, I'll be documenting the days as they come. The classes will last two weeks, excluding the weekends.

Today, to set our levels, we had to draw a dead tree using a specific technique.

You can find it here: pr0jectzer0.deviantart.com/art…

I was pretty satisfied with what I could do in around two hours.

The week-long project we're aiming for is to create a comic, in any form, any style (Manga, Western, etc) and it can be from any existing story (spinoff, fanfic, etc).

Wish me luck!

PS: Feel free to zoom in with the Lifeless Tree. The details only show once you get in close enough.

What you are about to read is the most accurate memory of an elaborate nightmare that occurred not so long ago. None of this was made up.
The dream switches perspectives from time to time. To aid you, the reader, I've identified each section with the name of the character in which the dream is taking place through the eyes of.

* * * * *

[Presumably, Commander Shepard]

I arrived at a Quarian hospital to see if Tali had recovered from a cold she had gotten recently. Once arrived, I decided to explore a bit before checking on her. I had a small chat with a friendly human mercenary commando in a briefing room of sorts and then moved on to the upper level. The latter was a platform overlooking the lobby, giving me a clear view of my surroundings. The glass walls that surrounded me let the sunset's light pour in, making for a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Of course, that was going to change.

I turned around and made my way to the elevator. Seconds later, I stumbled into a clear-visored Quarian examining dead Turian's corpse laying against a wall near a secondary reception desk. A group of other Quarians and Salarians were assessing the situation, working in seamless cooperation. Taking the matter seriously, I examined his body armor -- a familiar symbol was imprented on his shoulderguard, but it definitely wasn't Cerberus'.

Suddenly, an alarm blared through the building. For some reason, an evacuation was taking place. Offering to help, I decided to stay and help the remaining Quarian patients and civillians. The lobby now emptied, I pulled out my rifle and headed back up the stairs to the second floor platform, only to see two Turian commandos and an android opening fire on the remaining Quarian patients as they exited their rooms. Without hesitation, I killed the intruders and verified their armour: They all had the same emblem printed on their armour, as if they were part of some wort of death squad for hire. Their equipment was top-tier.

My somewhat peaceful dream rapidly shifted into a nightmare. I stood there for a brief moment, staring at the blood-covered walls and lifeless bodies that laid motionless on the floor. I couldn't believe my eyes. A familiar voice boomed through my earpiece, waking me from my morbid trance. "Shepard, what's going on?" Garrus said in a pressing tone. "Meet me in the lobby, I'll explain everything to you there."

Once regrouped, I took the time to explain the situation to Garrus and Kaiden who had arrived with him. I decided to divide and conquer: I would head up to Tali's floor and both Garrus and Kaiden would take the underground storage areas to kill the remaining mercs.

[Kaiden]

We both made it to the underground area. The infrastructure resembled that of a parking lot with a relatively large space and almost nowhere to hide. It was nearly empty, with the exception of a few trucks and the odd car. I opened up my Omni-Tool and set it to scan for any electrical and thermal signals in the area; anything that resembled a human being or a potential target would immediately get flagged. Seconds later, two targets appear on the scan: A man with heavy armour and an LMG of sorts and a second soldier that I couldn't see with the naked eye.

Garrus took cover and opened fire on the only visible mercenary, but his bullets barely made a dent in his armour. In a flash, the second target appeared right out of thin air and prepared to strike me from behind. Garrus, aware of the uncloaked soldier, alerted me. In a split-second reaction, I ducked and hit him with the butt of my gun, turned around and prepared to put a bullet in his head as he stumbled back. As I pulled the trigger, he re-cloaked himself and my bullet hit the floor. Whoever this guy was, he was obviously a professional.

After running out of ammo and entering a fierce hand-to-hand combat with the ninja merc, Garrus got shot in shoulder and collapsed to the floor, grasping his bleeding wound. I sprinted over to Garrus' gun and used the remaining bullets to kill off the heavy. Garrus, now with an incapacitated arm, pulled out his pistol and shot the cloaked merc just as he was going to stab me. Thanking Garrus, I placed him against the adjacent car door and prepared to apply some Medi-Gel on his wound.

"You're going to make it, I whispered. Just stay with m--" Everything stopped. I couldn't speak, much less make a noise of any sort. Time froze for an instant, but it felt like an eternity. Time unfroze, as I collapsed to the ground, a gaping hole in the back of my neck from a bullet fired from across the room.

[Garrus]

Kaiden's body laid on top of me, his dead eyes staring into an infinite void. I pulled him off and took cover knowing that the shooter would be out for me next, but the latter had gotten to me first. I screamed in pain as the bullet tore through my leg, making me collapse for a second time. I wasn't going to die knowing that he was still alive. With all the strength that remained in me, I dragged myself over to my sniper rifle that I had left near the entrance, only to be brutally interrupted by the cloaked merc re-appearing right in front of my eyes, stomping on my hand.
And to think he was dead...

He pulled out his pistol, pointed it at my head and pulled the trigger.

[Shepard]

At last, I had found Tali. She was smart enough to have cloaked herself, but she recognized me instantly. I ran over to her and embraced her in my arms. Joker, finding a way to get through to me using my earpiece, instantly destroyed any hopes I had recently earned.
"Commander... Garrus' and Kaiden's vital signs..."
No. No, no, no! This couldn't be happening!

"They're dead."

I stood there, took a step back and stared out the window. I couldn't believe my ears... Everything seemed to fade away.

"Shepard, what happened?" Tali asked in a worrying, almost pleading tone. I couldn't bring myself to tell her. They meant as much to her as they meant to me. Seconds later, she caught on.
"Shepard..." she said, her voice trembling. I placed my arms around her and stared right in her eyes. She cracked and entered a sob, grabbing me with all her might.
We held eachother in our embrace for as long as the dream permitted.

(This post was requested by :iconcloudspawner: after I posted my first Mass Effect dream)

This dream was by far one of the most emotionally striking ones I had endured in a while. Not only did I feel strongly connected to the characters from Mass Effect (Tali and Garrus more than others), but seeing them in such a state woke me up in tears.
You have full reason to doubt my credibility, but why would I fabricate such a story just for the heck of it? I'm an honest man with a crazy sub-conscious imagination and a love for the Mass Effect series.
If you've read all the way here and still have some form of sanity left, I congratulate you. If you feel like writing some feedback, feel free to do so. Thanks!

What you are about to read is the most accurate rendering of a dream/nightmare I had while on vacation. I didn't edit or abridge what I dreamed. Originally transcribed on the "Notes" application on my iPod.

* * * * *

I walk into a room, more like an empty area, completely dark, like deep space. A light shines out of nowhere, illuminating a group of featureless silhouettes. Another does the same thing, then another...
What was going on?

By the end of this, I'm surrounded by silhouettes, arms raised towards an empty sky.

Suddenly, a figure emerges out of thin air, projecting itself in front of me, in altitude. The image clears itself, revealing an all too familiar face.

Commander Shepard, followed by fellow squadmates and crew members.

The latter was a starry projection, with multicolored blurs and lights surrounding him appearing in short bursts
I had no idea what I was seeing until then.

Shepard, with Liara, Garrus, Thane, Jack, Tali, Ashley, James and EDI following in formation.

The whole crew, together.

Shepard was leading them into battle, it seemed. He raised his left arm and pointed it forward, suggesting that he ordered a full-scale assault.

But something was wrong.

Garrus and Tali...
Their images started to shimmer and fade. What was going on?

And then it hit me.

What I was seeing...

Was nothing but a memory.

Those who died in battle, fighting their way towards the portal in London.

Tali and Garrus were both with me during that fight.

They both died fighting for what they believed in.

And, ironically, I was the one who chose them to go.

I collapsed, landing on my knees. I was responsible...

The silhouettes... lost souls of the Alliance, the rest of Humanity... the rest of all organic life...

I started to cry, to scream, to beg forgiveness. I watched as they fought their way through insurmountable odds, just to be killed one by one...

It was unfair.

It was unjust.

It was my punishment.

Tali was the last one standing. She screamed as she blasted the living hell out of the devilish creatures that surrounded her.

But it was futile.

One of the monsters struck her in the arm, another in the chest. She was sent flying, landing on her back, her body shivering. It was the end. There was nothing she could do.

But she didn't give up.

She brought herself to her feet, pistol in hand, taking down the reaper creatures with spot-on accuracy and hate-fueled aggression. But she wasn't going to make it.

The numbers were too big.

The odds were against her.

She knew her fate, and she accepted it.

Tali stopped shooting, lowered her arm and dropped the gun,  sighing. She raised her empty hand up to her mask.

Was she really...?

With one gentle movement, she pulled her mask off, revealing...

The most beautiful person I've ever seen.

Her face, surprisingly human-like, resembled that of a 17 year-old, dotted with freckled cheeks, a short nose and dark purple eyes. Her skin was pale, but healthy, and shined with a surrounding aura. She pulled down her hood, showing her hair; Dark brown, short, straight with some curls and well kept. Professional, yet cute and playful. Literally, I was staring at the girl of my dreams.

And she was looking straight at me.

I couldn't believe my eyes.

This couldn't be happening...

I reached out, screaming her name at the top of my lungs as she disappeared under a storm of bullets.

* * * * *

I woke up in a cold sweat, my heart pounding harder than ever before. I was in a state of shock.

I spent the next twenty minutes processing what I had seen, and wrote down everything I could remember.

* * * * *

So...

Well, there you have it.

This was the second Mass Effect nightmare I've had.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to write them down.
